How do I check if a baby product has been recalled?
Search this directory by brand or category — it covers 1,600+ baby and toddler recalls from CPSC, FDA, and EU Safety Gate, updated every 30 minutes. No account needed. You can also register your products with a free Pouch account to get an email automatically if one is ever recalled.
What should I do if my child's product is recalled?
Stop using the product first. Then check the official recall notice (linked on every page here) for the remedy — usually a free repair kit, replacement, or refund from the manufacturer. You almost never need a receipt for a safety recall.
Do recalled baby products get taken off the secondhand market?
Mostly no. CPSC recall-effectiveness research shows average consumer response to recalls is around 6%, and roughly 4% for products under $20 — so most recalled items stay in circulation in hand-me-down bags and secondhand listings. Checking before you buy used is worth the minute it takes.
Where does Pouch's recall data come from?
Three official sources: the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the U.S. FDA (food and formula), and the EU Safety Gate. We check all three every 30 minutes and filter for baby and toddler products.
